Back to see the specialist this morning!

I have my follow up appointment with my specialist this morning at 10.30am at the hospital.

Having been on these meds since 13th June, I really don't think they have worked the miracle that was portrayed.

Although I am feeling so so much better, I still have painful wrists, and messy psorisis. I can say that my foot is easier and less painful to stand on now.

The chemist remarked on the combination amount of meds and said the specialist must have got it wrong!!!!!! and supplied what he thought, but I have taken the dose the specialist gave me - so we will find out today!!!

Will keep you posted ...

Update..... He seems happy with the progress so far even though the foot was wheeping this morning !
The inflammation has come down as proven by the regular blood tests, so he wants me to continue with methotrexate and see him again in 4 months. The blood tests are now monthly opposed to fortnightly.

He said the visible psorisis can disappear overnight with some, but mine is more persistant. The fact that my wrist and ankle joints are no longer swollen is a sign that the med is doing some good.

So, all in all I am happy with that, providing it's going in the right direction.
