Why do dogs eat grass??

What is the real story about dogs eating grass? Do they eat because
they feel sick, or do they get sick because they eat it?

My dog has been eating grass lately, which she never used to do. She
had been throwing up a few weeks ago, but my vet put her on antibiotics
and she seems fine.

I've read that wild animals eat grass to get moisture from it if they're
thirsty.

Does anyone out there know?

have no idea but my dog is like a mini cow like nothing better than a good munch on some grass - the longer the better - he is never sick just seems to like it !!

It's like what came first, the chicken or the egg?

hiya leslie dogs eat grass as a form of medicine if they are going to be sick they will choose a certain grass to eat and once eaten this will bring up what is upetting them tums cats eat grass as well to make themselfes sick its not dangerous to them

Cookie eats Grass like a Cow and is never sick when doing it.
