that was too close !!

Just had a really scary experience, i was walking the dogs and walked back along a 60mph road with a thin stip of grass between path and road, anyhow i was walking them, then realised i needed to get home asap, so started running, all was fine then i twisted my ankle, i tripped up and dropped the dogs leads, scrumps stopped immediatly from the shock of me falling, TJ however was running still, getting worryingly close to the road, so i put on my serious i mean buisness, im not panicking voice and shouted TJ stop! to my amazement he did and turned around and ran full pelt back to me and realised me on the floor was a good opportunity for a face wash

Im so proud of him for stopping as soon as i told him too, id hate to think what could of happened
Ive now got a twisted ankle but it could of been much much worse!

OMG Thank heavens he stopped :smt103

You must have been panicking for a moment, to think what could have happened doesn't bare thinking about! I am delighted you are all okay, give him an extra treat for being so good!

Lovely obedient dogs you have Gems, and a twisted ankle. Been there, screamed in pain, eventually recovered. Wish you better - cold compress (sometimes known as bag of frozen peas) on it will take the swelling down
