Deformed Epiglotis
Hi Im new to the forum, stumbled across looking for health issues to do with dogs.
we have 4 dogs, 2 akitas & 2 KC cavaliers.
whilst our youngest boy baxter was being neutered yesterday, he was sedated for the first time, he was found to have a deformed epiglotis.
i was wondering if anybody has a dog with this issue and what to look out for and and what difference it made to your dogs?
our vet has tried reassuring us that Baxter will be ok, and there are just the symptoms to look out for ie. excessive panting, and coughs etc.
but im still worried.
any body who has had the same experience i would love to hear from
