Please dont laugh

Hello i saw a advert in the newspaper saying that they are selling border collies + some of them have the rare bobtails + they said its in the genes.now for the question what are bobtails? +is it in the genes i have never heard of this at least not with the same sentance as border collie.has anyone else or am i just stupid

ive just looked up the name bobtail i was curious wasnt sure what it was but now i now a bobtails is like a bunny rabbits tail only they are not on collies as such but old english sheepdogs ive never known a bc to have a bobtail but english sheepdogs have them hope this helps

some people think that border collies and old english sheepdogs are the same cos the names sound the same but they are a totally different breed at least we both know now what a bobtail is

Never heard of a bobtail BC, maybe they are trying to pass them off as another breed? Im not sure! I for one cant imagine a BC without a tail, i love the beautiful fluffy flaged tails, i guess they would look almost aussie shepherds but finer boned!?

Bob tails are in genes
i know something i am glad i didnt want one i would be gutted if i turned up + they didnt have a tail

Me too for sure, dogs are ruined without their tails! Of course id love a dog tail or no tail but i think its wrong IMO
