Sunday 28th August

Good morning everyone

Pleased you got your bracelet exchanged without having to travel to Birmingham Kelly, Hope your night was peaceful once again

Try and rest today Chris.

Sunny periods and it has tried to rain this morning. Just the usual walk and I have made some apple crumbles. Nothing else planned. No doubt will finish my book this afternoon

Hope all are well. Take care

Good morning all

Lovely sunny morning and, surprisingly, a lot quieter than yesterday despite the festival carrying on today. The morning after the night before syndrome maybe

I'm hoping the guy who's coming to quote for the path (I've given up on the full front garden before I lose the will to live ) turns up and can do the job quickly so we can get the mobility scooters in and out easily - fingers crossed

Wow, that was a new one on me Brenda. Had to look it up

Yay, the guy came. Sounded good. Gave a good price so he'll be starting sometime in the next couple of weeks. Fingers crossed it all works out as it should

It's just starting to cloud over here now, but they really have had a glorious weekend for the festival. Could have done without the fireworks last night. Why do they always have to have fireworks? These days, someone blows out a candle and it's let's celebrate with damned fireworks

Evening all
Chris...fingers crossed for the path and I agree, fireworks are ridiculous.
Brenda, podenco's are lovely....knew a few people on another site who had rescues.
Sue, yummy!! Apple crumble
Another quiet night last night and they won't be back tonight as the bil and sister have been in to the cat.... unless they are coming back late/ early since Wednesday she has had company for 50 minutes...2 short visits yesterday and then a 8-10 minute visit every other day, poor thing

Better than being in a cattery. At least it's familiar to her.
