Frosty Wednesday 23rd February 2022

Morning peeps, yep very frosty here. No wonder I woke in the small hours feeling chilly. My friend Margaret is coming over today to help me defrost my freezer. Have a good day all. Kelly sounds drastic only being able to have veggies.

Yep.... minimal carbs, loads of veg and yoghurt... yoghurt makes me sick but I will try it again
I am currently clearing out a 6ft chest freezer....god knows what my mum was doing, looks like she was just buying food and dumping it on top of the existing food, I will be at it for hours, it's all frozen up too

Good evening all.

Same old, same old so not much to say

You're a better woman than I am Kelly. I throw up before any veg (except carrots and peas) is on its way to my mouth and I mean that literally. Yoghurt, yuk, NO

I have the argument every time a doctor asks what my diet is like. I know it's lousy and always has been. I'll be 69 this year and it hasn't killed me yet

I am struggling Chris....I have gone from a size 10 to a size 16 very quickly. I have the nurse telling me it's my medication...I agree and my consultant moaning because my lft is elevated, he says because of my weight....I eat the most healthy out of our family, I am vegan except for a tiny bit of cheese ( not keen on vegan cheese unless it's on a pizza) I struggle to exercise but push myself to do 5000 steps a.day regardless of how much pain I am in. I no longer drink every night, don't have takeaways unless I am at Steve's house... that's very rare now as I don't see him often. And now I have an upset tummy so it's either my ibs starting or the yoghurt doesn't like me.
Lol Chris, people freak out when I say I am veggie/ vegan and I don't eat tofu, soya jack fruit etc. Basically, I live on salad and veggies, rice and pasta but now I can't have carbs...or if I do once a day, I tried to explain its not sustainable for me but I was just told if I have toast for breakfast...no more carbs that day

Can't stand pasta or rice and salad - no thanks. Did I say my diet is diabolical.

I have a full English breakfast in the morning. Crunchy nut cornflakes or soup for tea

I do love chocolate, cakes and biscuits though

My Mother used to love to tell everyone that as a baby, the only way she could get me to take the bottle was by putting a bit of melted chocolate on the teat. She tried feeding me herself, but the doctor said her milk was poisoning me.

I suppose that very early experience just carried on through life
