Whitney Houstons daughter was found unresponsive in a bathtub... the same as her mother. It does always sadden me when these things happen. Her mother's death was very hard on her and I don't think she ever truly recovered.

She's in very bad shape, but I hope she makes it and if it is due to the drug overdose they think it is, I hope she finds help and doesn't go back down that road.

It's sad because you would have thought that as her mother self destructed with drugs, that she might have been different. It's so sad.

Unfortunately sometimes, genetics have a lot to answer for.

She promised she wasn't using and her family believed her when she said that she'd never go down her mother's path and make the same mistakes she did. Seems it was all a farce, sadly. I do hope she makes it and gets the help she needs.

She is said to be doing worse and her father has asked for privacy on this matter. I have a bad feeling about this. I also found this photo, which troubled me.



This is from last year. She was 20 here. Mismatched shoes, far skinnier than she normally is, and imo looks far older than 20. Something was way off here, and it seems it has only worsened.

For anyone that cares...

She has been moved from the critical care hospital here to Emory, also here. This is bad news indeed. They are far better equipped to do proper brain scans. She's been unable to breathe on her own since she was found and North Fulton hospital said her brain waves were diminishing before she was moved from there.

It seems as if they are just confirming that she is indeed gone, however, people suspect that her family is keeping her alive for publicity reasons, and are waiting until February 11th, the date her mother died, to remove her from life support. I so hope this isn't true.

I've never had any respect for her father, but this is a new low if it's even remotely true. In any case, it seems her chances of survival are neigh zero, so sad for someone her age. She never recovered after her mother died, and she couldn't escape her past...

Everything to live for, but to her seemingly not. A tragedy indeed.

A tortured soul that will hopefully be at peace soon.

I agree with both of you. Sad that this happened, but I blame her family more than her. She grew up in a violent, drug filled home, and then she lost her mother way too soon. She had nobody to turn to, so she turned to the drugs, instead. In the end, her bad choices caused this, but you've got to wonder how much better she would have fared if she'd grown up in a normal home.
