I woke this morning

Wondering what to say

To remind you all

That this is Monday


Last week it was

Nursery rhymes

That gave the idea

Reminding me of

All the times


When years ago

From my lips

Did flow

Until my children

They did grow


But that won't help

Today I fear

And Monday's rhyme

Is far from near


And it's the last day

Of September

So I really

Must remember


To get this rhyme done

Come what may

Because it's the

Last MONDAY

Of September's

Two's company, threes a crowd and four just Bedlum!

In our house the days complete when you hear the patter of tiny feet! Not two nor four but sixteen all told, check my maths 'I'm getting old'
You can guess with this traffic my kitchen floors
Can become rather dirty from some many paws.
But I can forgive mans 'best friend' when the floors and clean and the day comes to an end.
