Walking Sally.

My Dad wrote his motorbike off on Monday, no serious damage done to himself but he is very stiff and sore. I took today off to go over and walk Sally and give Dad a bit of company other than Grandma. I really enjoyed taking the girl out on a walk that I used to do all the time when I lived with my parents

Apologies in advance that they are mostly of the back of her head!

Setting off -

The first bridge -

Ooo a cow! -

The canal -

Along the towpath near the river -

Bridge over the weir -

At the lock -

Barges and another bridge -

Onwards to the churchyard -

In the churchyard -

Back up through the village -

Thank you for looking

Thank you There were calves and ducklings to but Sally didn't want to pause to look at them. It's not so much a walk with Sally as a march!

It's about 3 miles long and so lovely. I used to walk it every morning before work with Scooby. It's so picturesque I could never get bored of it

Thank you Mini, I am very relieved he's ok. He was out with my brother so he had help afterwards and went to hospital to be checked out. He hasn't broken anything but I think that's down to the quality of his safety gear and luck!

What an absolutely DELIGHTFUL walk. Glad to see it's not just me that has a catalogue of photos of dog bums!

Looks like a lovely walk, very picturesque - am glad to hear your dad is ok, my husband rides motorbikes and I know how worried I sometimes get.
