Loving Home Offered In Northamptonshire

We are hoping to find a new male companion for our grieving :smt022 mature girl - spayed- and us!
Personality is top priority!
Must be cat-friendly and no known hatred of livestock.
We are a 40+ years old couple with no young children.
If anyone knows of a doggy that may suit us please post
Thank You.
p.s
We are quite rural with miles of footpaths and bridleways on our doorstep.
We also have super comfy bed :smt015 and good grub :smt041 at the ready.

Awww good luck in your search.

Have you tried any rescue centres in your area? They are always looking for homes, I'm sure they'd have one that will suit you to the ground.

Hi ya Tea

I know you are in Northants, but at Woodgreen animal shelter in Godmanchester (Cambs)-they have many dogs all needing a loving home.

They have two 8 year old GSD's called Marley & Jerry Lee which must be rehomed together if you are intrested-they are both very well behaved by the way and look stunning!

Try looking at www.woodgreen.org.uk

They have many more dogs than just those on the site,so do please consider them.

Hi All and Thank You
Steve, excellent suggestion !
We are not in a position to offer 2 doggies a home but 1 , Yes !
My OH is working away this week but hopefully a visit next Sunday, if he is not too jet lagged!
I'll check out what time they open in the morning and also should we take our girl along aswell or wait until the second visit.I imagine they encourage all family members although I draw the line at taking the puddy cats.It sounds like they may have a cat test in action, hope so!

Hi tea good luck with your search. Taking on a rescue dog is a great thing to do as they give you such love and loyalty in return it's almost as if they know what you've done for them. Best thing I've ever done anyway

ps: probably best to leave the cats at home when you visit

Yes Jake!
They would be most miffed if I were to uproot them from their snoozing position.
