Hi Boris, congrats on the new puppy - I bet you can't wait... Dobermann puppies are SO cute (we had a Dobe when I was growing up - love the breed!).
With regards to food, has your breeder recommended anything in particular? A good breeder will normally give you a few days worth of food, as well as a puppy sheet that includes info about diet etc
Once you have your puppy settled you will want to think about food that you feel is the best choice. As a start, check out this Quick Start Guide:
http://www.dogsey.com/dog-food.htm and if you have any questions let us know.
The general consensus though, is that feeding a species-appropriate diet is important... but that can sometimes work out expensive (tho, could save you money in the long-term, re vet's bills etc). Have browse through this section and the Raw feeding section - there are some interesting threads around that might help you make your decision
