Drontal wormer, being sick after?

Hi, i would like a little advise on the drontal wormer please.
For the second time i have given my dog a drontal wormer she has been sick within hours after, this is only the second time she has been sick after having the wormer tablet.
I wasnt worried the first time as not much came up but this time her whole evening meal came up practically whole.
Im worried that this might mean her body has not taken any advantage of the wormer and being second time round aswell.
I never gave a second dosage the last time nor this as i dont want to double dose her if thats possible?
I know not to take 'answers' as gospel but thought i would post before contacting vets,
Thank you in advance

Also forgot to add into first posting, Is it 'normal' to have little episodes of shivering.
Could this be a side effect?

If you google 'Drontal Wormer made my dog sick' you will see that this is a common problem and you can take your pick of the advice given about it.

And here is the Drontal website (where sickness is mentioned)

http://www.drontal.com/faqs.html

They have a 'click here if you want to ask a question' bit at the top

Good luck

Some dogs do have this problem
Some of our past dogs where allergic to the nitro scanate
We now use panacur 10% as it doesnt give any contra
indications i.e. doesn't make them sick.
You can also get a lower % for puppies and really small dogs.

My JRT couldn't have Drontal as he would be very sick after it. I gave him Milbemax instead and he was fine with that.

Hi a few months ago my dog who has Drontal on a regular basis, was sick after having it. Though he had it a couple of weeks ago and was fine, I'm going to keep check on this and change if he is sick anymore.
