Thank you all for the warm welcome. My dog family just got larger, last Saturday. Trying to get the info on "lost and found" dogs, I discovered your site.
Purebread GSD, about 14 months old, wondered up to our ranch. He was badly bleeding from the puncture wounds to his face, and his left ear was almost torn off. No collar, no chip. Totally sweet puppy. Took him to the clinic, fixed him up, and tried to find the owners, to no avail. That's how I found you guys.
Nobody answered multiple adds we posted for him, and now he has a new name (started to respond to it on the first day!!), and a new home. His name is Rommel, and he is joining Gina (8year old GSD girl), Jali (2year old Husky girl), Bilo (7year old Pom boy), and Chibby (7year old Chin boy). He now lives on the big horse ranch (we also have five horses, and three cats), has a "love affair" with Husky, and his stitches will be removed next week. Healing nicley, and his left ear is already coming up.
He's a BIG BOY! 80lb, and not fully grown (Gina is 75lb fully grown, and Jali is 85) He will be over a 100lb in few months.
He's no stranger to the horses, and is house broken (they all sleep on the floor of the master suite, and bathrooms).

And that's my K9 family!
