Ban on selling animals on social network site

Hi have recently found out that a certain social network site we all know allows groups for the sale of animals.
I feel there are already enough free add places where puppy farmers, back yard breeders and "get rid quick" owners can go to sell their animals without the need for it on there aswell! So I would be greatful if you all would sign my petition below to get a ban put on selling living creatures in the same way that ebay did.
http://www.petitiononline.com/An1mal5/petition.html

And for those who are thinking the free adds need to be tackled as well/insted... let me just say.. all in good time!

A friend at work told me about one of these groups just yesterday and I asked her to add me to the group.

TBH, I was quite horrified at the amount of posts varying from people advertising dogs at stud (none of which seemed to have had ANY health checks) to numerous 'designer' crossbreeds (again seemingly no health-checks) - all very sad

Have to say the post that saddened me the most was of a beautiful Staffie dog (possible cross) who was in a rescue centre and someone was asking could anyone help as he is due to be PTS today This is even though he was described as a 'fantastic dog'. I posted a question asking why was a healthy dog being put down rather than being re-homed to a no-kill shelter? So very sad indeed.
