Puppies as prizes...

I am gobsmacked just now...

I was watching a programme about beauty pageants. And what was up for as a prize... 3 puppies!

Why, oh why, would someone think to give a puppy as a prize to a child??!

Some of the parents were really hoping their child wouldn't win one, but what a horrible situation for them to be faced in, when there child wants the puppy that they have won! I just can't believe it... thinking about it, I am not at all suprised but still...

Those poor pups could end up anywhere, and with someone who doesn't want one, and hasn't planned to have a dog... Poor poor pups

I watched a film, where the wedding gifts were puppies! Ok the film wasnt real, but seriously!

I've seen that programme too & was horrified. Now that these child beauty pageants are starting to take off in this country lets hope that puppies as prizes is one American idea that never comes here.

Unbelievable, how can some people be so stupid?

Funny you say that a friend of mine said something similar was going on in her area! So it may be creeping in over here already
