What am I?

My partner has been telling me about a puppy that he saw today, help is needed to figure out what it was!

His description;
will be bigger than Toby (springer x cocker)
mostly white with brown bits
short hair
floppy ears
not a spaniel

So, any ideas?

Er could it be a Pointer? They come in different colours.

I've just googled for some pictures and other half says 'maybe' although he thinks it had longer legs than the pointer pup pictures. It was 16 weeks old and called Charlie if that helps!

Oh dear-your other half sounds like my husband who's not very good at identifying dog breeds. He has got better since I have been educating him though!

thats what he came up with when I asked if he could think of anything else! He should know better than to mention puppies and not have full details available! It was at work with his group all day!

When i hear long legged white dog with brown patches i think American bulldogs ..
