Woody's ears (and the wilderness that comes with them)

We had a glorious walk today, freezing winds but dry, blue skies and sunshine. My favourite dog walking weather!

LuLu found some deer, Rupert found a rabbit and Woody found all of this -

And here is the groomed specimen himself -

''What, moi?''

(Disclaimer - no animals were harmed on our walk and all dogs recalled back immediately, however, I can't speak for the twigs, thorn, branches and sticky buds which are now settled in the bottom of my kitchen bin)

Bless! Seeing the brush can you recommend a good brush for Springers, think the one we have although good quality is a bit lightweight for the job, and gives me a nasty prick!

Any type of slicker brush is best. I buy one for sensitive skin (from Mikki) too because he gets a brush after every walk so I don't want to irritate his skin.

This made me really chuckle. Reminded me of my old afghan hound who also used to bring "extras" home attached to her eyes.....

Bless Woody - he looks fab, Emily

Hahah, yes, except Springers have knickers AS WELL as the ears!!

I call them his board shorts though and they're a lot harder to groom as the ****** keeps sitting down!
