Walkies! (3 X's and a Lhasa apso) Pic heavy!
Yesterday, me and two other dog walkers I have met through walking Jake, took the dogs to Barons Haugh, which is my favourite ever place to walk! There was Millie (BCx), Bess (JRTx), Bailey (Lhasa apso) and of course Jake!
It was a brilliant walk, and was very eventful
it is a good walk up to barons haugh, and we had taken some lunch to have so we found a bench once we arrived. There was a guy with a telescope sitting a bit away from us against a fall tree trunk, so we sat down to eat… then about 5 minutes later, about 20 people walked round to corner and sat down all around us
turns out, they are all birdwatchers who meet up at the same place at the same time every Sunday… so this week they had a few gatecrashers
Bailey also got a blooming fish hook stuck in his paw! Luckily it was small enough that it came out ok, but we thought for a minute we were going to have to rush him to the vets to get it out! his owner will be taking him to the vets today though, just to make sure it is all ok.
Setting off… Bess, Bailey and Millie (from closest to furthest)…
Before long, we arrived! Bess, Bailey and Millie with Jake up ahead.
Millie and Jake having a mooch…
the view…
all four of them…
Millie…
Jake and Millie going on ahead…
and then Bailey… before shot…
and the after shot
he rolled in a big cow pat! He was absolutely stinking
so David, wanted to put him in the shallow water to see if some would come off… but the bank was quite steep, and David slipped and roll right down, and into the water!
I checked to make sure he was ok, and then rolled around laughing! It was hilarious
the sun soon dried him off! we eventually got to the wee stream where he could wash Bailey off a wee bit…
but then…
he rolled in the dirt
still, that’s better than cow pat… although he still stunk
gremlin boy!
heading home… dunno why Jake looks so teeny in this pic
and, a nice tired boy
so a fun day had by all!
i was also soooo proud of Jake, coz he behaved brilliantly! and came back as soon as he was called
