Reah came into my life 12 years ago carried on a strecher by RSPCA officers into the vet where I worked.
She was a cruelty case after being hit by a car then a lorry near the spaghetti junction turn off in Edrington. Her then owner had traced her and instead of bringing her to a vets he had shut her in a shed for two weeks thinking her shattered body would heal itself. Neighbours complained after hearng her screaming and here she was screaming still at each jerk of the stretcher. No-one knew the extent of her injuries but when they manifested themselves her then owner wanted to have her PTS. After taking her on I had to raise £3000.00 for treatment, three broken legs,collarbone,pelvis,nerve damage,internal injuries to her bowels. She was operated on 26th September and began walking in the January.
