Harness for Springer Spaniel

We have just taken the dogs for a walk down the (private) road by our horse fields, Harry wore a harness and long line, he walked up to the post and rail in our 6 acre field, pushed his head under, mum called him back and tried to pull on the long line to get him back under the fence and the harness came back and Harry was away into the field! Cue major panic but thankfully he did come back.

I was going to buy my mum a Doxlock harness for xmas but now I am worrying that it might not stay on!

What harnesses do other Springer owners use?

What kind of harness was it?

Toby has a Karlie Doggy Talk harness. It won't slip off with him pulling forwards but he has wriggled out of it backwards once

I don't know how he got out of it, I just know he did!

He has just been out for a walk in a harness I made myself and it stayed on this time, but I am still worried the Doxlock (which is the same style as the Julius K9 harness) may come off.

I use a walkright, there adjustable and easy to get on you have two d loops on the top you thread two straps through and clip to the collar that comes with it. It has a tension bar on as well.

Hi

I have used a walkezee harness before and found them really good. They fit really well, stop any type of pulling etc.
