Hello from County Durham!

Hi everyone,

I'm brand new here. Found you the other day but have only just had chance to register.

I live between Newcastle and Durham up in County Durham (North East England) and absolutely love animals.

I work for the RSPCA part time as an Animal Care Assistant and I also have my own business ("Ace Animals") where I specialise in animal behaviour and training, pet sitting, dog walking, grooming, etc.

Are there any other people here from my area?

Me!!
Well sort of, born in South Shields, live in Ashington and work in Sunderland!!

Owner of Ice, the white sibe, as well as all the other animals(small zoo!)

Where do you work? I help out with SHWA(UK) sibe welfare, and it would be good to have another contact in the area.

How strange! I have recently sent my enquiries in to SHWA and have the email sitting in my Inbox as I type awaiting my completion of all the documentation. (Finding time to actually complete them is the next step!)

Good to see someone else in the area - kinda!

I work at the RSPCA centre near Chester-le-Street in addition to my self employment as an animal behaviourist/trainer/groomer/pet sitter/etc. At the moment the centre is a cattery only but (in theory) by this time next year it'll be a fully functioning "animal centre" with kennels, cattery and miscellaneous section. Can't wait.
