The Last Sunday on the Beach

...before the Dog Ban comes in and we`re banished till October. There used to be a half-mile stretch we couild use all year but the Council has banned us from there as well.
So I took Daisy and Shamus for a swim.
Here`s the stretch of beach they`ve taken away. As you can see it`s heaving with tourists.

but never mind - I know a couple of places outside Southend Council`s jurisdiction where we can still go
and here are my furry pair enjoying themselves.

thanks for looking

Great photos

So annoying that they don't leave you even one small part of the beach where you can go.

Love that pic of Daisy pushing herself off from the groin there! They're having a whale of a time, I can't wait to get mine down there but I'm waiting till it's a bit warmer.

We've got the same, dogs are banned, although there is a 3 mile stretch they let us go, coz unless you live on the beach along there, you can't actually acess it by car, therefore, no bladdy tourists, so we're safe all summer long!

Fabulous pics of your two furry ones. I LOVE dogs on the beach!

Stupid council and their stupid rules. I hate it! I remember holidaying in Cornwall as a child with our black lab Kizzy and having great fun playing with her in the sea etc. Not only does it affect dog walkers, but it also affects families with dogs. If the kids fancy a day at the beach the dog gets left behind all day. It's a dumb rule!

Glad you've found a cheeky alternative though ;o)

Lovely photos and I think they should have a beach where dumb, noisy families are banned so the dogs don't get disturbed and upset by people screaming at them to stay away!!

Fab pics - dogs do love the beach! Must be awful to have a ban on the beaches during the summer! You'll just have to move up to here

Take care
