Does that look like a Dachshund to you? Looked a bit of a cross to me
He certainly still looks very healthy, bless him

I was suprised that he is the oldest at 21 years - I'm sure there have to be a few others that are at least as old as him?

I'm also surprised at 21 is the worlds oldest dog. My neighbours Jack Russell passed away at the age of 19 last year, which isn't far off 21.

Well i just found this

http://rulingcatsanddogs.com/dog-wor...d-breakers.htm

It says the oldest dog was an Aussie cattle dog who died at 29, then on the same page it says this:

"These records are not verified by us and not all of them should necessarily be trusted as absolute fact. We do not check every record and rely on the honesty of our visitors. If you would like to submit your dog's record, please hit the email button and supply as much info as possible and also a picture if possible." so who knows..??

The oldest dog I've known personally was a friend's white boxer, called Caspar. He died 2 weeks after his 22nd birthday. I still have his lead. His owner used to take him to the pub every day, where he'd have a pie whilst Mike had a pint. Lovely old dog.
