Bessie & Spot

Here are our two dogs which we had growing up. Unfortunatle they passed away a few years ago. They were the best dogs a child could ask for, both being very loyal.

They were sisters. Their mother was some kind of spaniel and we are not sure what breed the dad was. As you can see, Bessie resembled more spaniel, while Spot resembled a staff, having the same muscular build etc. They were both between 14-16 inches at the withers.

These pictures are from when they were quite old, so Spot had already lost a lot of muscle definition making it harder to what breed they were crossed with. I'd much apreciate it if you could give your opinion.

i think they are both stunning . bessie the name ,sets me off ,my first collie was ,named bessey . i can see the spaniel like you say ,not to sure about the staffie .someone be long in seck ,with better idea .

The mother was actually a purebred springer spaniel
