Kali, o my Kali

I have a dreadful feeling that my beloved friend Kali is not going to be with me for much longer. He is almost 15 and his back legs are getting shakier all the time. When some eejit left the front gate open this morning, he was fit enough to take himself for an unauthorised walkie around the streets, but this afternoon, he has been very unstable. I don't think he is all that happy with Thorgeir being here, either, and finds him a bit too much. I am now hoping that he can hold out until we can take him home, because I don't want him to die in this rat-hole (I don't want him to die at all, really, but I don't get any say in matters like this).

Oh Snorri, I'm very sad to read this. They are with us for such a short time and it is never easy when they become ill or get old. I hope you and Kali get to have some more time together, I really do. Thinkng of you both. xxx
