Pets Welcome? Where?

I`ve been looking for places for a holidaywith a friend. We have 5 dogs between us. Normally we`re OK because we can travel but we now want to find somewhere that doesn`t invove a 6-hour drive from Essex.
All the sites I`ve been on so far say Pets Welcome...until you read the small print where it says One small well-behaved dog / £20 per week per dog / 2 dogs may be accepted at owners discretion along with a load of stuff about keeping them on leads, paying extra for cleaning etc. etc.
That doesn`t sound very welcome to me! And anyone with experience of dealing with the public will know that children make their presence felt far more than dogs!
So- is there anywhere genuinely dog-friendly for those of us with a comfortable number of dogs? We could just about manage north Devon or the bottom half of Wales. All the places I can find are in Cornwall and Cumbria.

Wasn't there a lady on here with a cottage with kennels. Was it Colliemajic. Looked in my favourites but can't find it (must have deleted it by mistake ) Sorry if it wasn't Colliemajic. My memory is not what it used to be

Hi,

I think this aas the link - but I couldn't be 100% sure.

I remember it has 3 single kennels and a double, which can be separated into 2 to make a total of 5 if necessary.
