I think your friend should get her dog to the vets, it doesn't sound right to me, not if she is having funny turns whilst falling in her side

My sisters 16 year old Collie started to do this last year which was due to her having fits and also alzheimers.Sis has to give her 2 lots of medication to keep it under control.

Hi Chelsea, I think your friends dog has had a fit or seizure but it is not as bad as it sounds , here is a link for you to read up about it .Your friend needs to visit the vet to confirm the diagnosis

If she has a pc tell her to read up on it, if not maybe you can print some info out for her

It is certainly some sort of fit, epilepsy, or could be cardiac murmur, vet is the best place for a conclusive answer.

definatly sounds like epilepsy and yes she should get the dog to the vets for a check up asap.

We've just found out kenny is epileptic after he had 4 full fits in less than 24 hrs and each time he wet himself.

I hope it's not as I would not want any one to go what we went thro on tuesday.

Good Luck to your friend

Jacey
