She'll regret that in the morning...

My mother's just arrived home, rat ar$ed, absolutely out of her tree.

How do I know this? Well apart from the slurred speech and interesting Captain Jack style swagger, she's knelt down on the floor, dressed all in black to cuddle the white dog.

Bearing in mind, she goes on, and on, and on about dog hair in this house and how she can't have everything nice and won't let the spotties near her when she's wearing black... she must be pretty off her face...

Then she fell over trying to get up and has sprawled about on the floor for a while in absolute hysterics before finally getting up and making her way out of the room.

She's managed to fall upstairs to bed and I can still hear her laughing...

Think I'll have to check on her before I turn in

What's even funnier is she is working at 8am tomorrow...

uh oh... someones gonna have a sore head in the morning! hope she enjoyed herself!

Hmmm - I've been there, done that, and the headache the next day wasn't worth it. I suspect Mum may feel the same when she surfaces. Got any Alka Selzer?

She wasn't sober when she left for work this morning... thankfully she had sobered up a little, enough to call her friend and ask him to drive her as she was in no fit state to drive.

The funniest part was telling her this morning that she'd knelt on the floor in her black skirt and cuddled the dog
