The old fella Sooty

...has to have an anaesthetic tomorrow He has broken a tooth leaving just a wobbly half, and he is really struggling to eat. He is 19 and I am worried sick, but it's basically a straight choice between risking a GA or having him put to sleep. His overall quality of life is still good so we are risking the GA, but I'm terrified that he isn't going to make it

Well the vets have rung - they actually haven't done it. They said he was vomiting in his kennel so they have put him on a drip and are going to try again tomorrow. Unfortunately my hubby took the call so I don't know if they had given him the premed or anything at that point, I'll give them a ring in a while and see if I can find out the details! Looks like another sleepless night for me then!
