Party Pooper

That's me.
Just cancelled a night out. I hate the pubs we go to - really smokey and rough. Most are pi**ed ageing rockers completely out of their heads by 9 pm. I hate the alcohol - it is dire, to say the least (rough wine and house vodka ). I hate the behaviour of one of the girls who is going along tonight (dumps you after about 30 mins to trawl the place looking for men). And the bands are rubbish - every week there is the repeat Rolling Stones etc.

I'm not a snob, honest, but I like nice friendly pubs with normal people, chatting amicably over a few bottles of wine.

Just couldn't face it this week.

Your not alone luv, I like the nice little local pubs where you can sit and talk, not shout at each other lol

Yeah and not end up with a sore throat the next day from screaming at each other.

i know the feeling hun,, i have a friend who is exactly the same and i got so fed up of it i just stopped going out with her

there is no point going if you know you are not going to enjoy it anyways,, keep your chin up hun, we dont think you are a snob

I hate pubs that play really loud music now as well - I would rather sit in a nice quiet country pub that has a real fire and be able to talk to my friends without shouting - I really feel old saying that
