can a puppy grow much bigger than his parents???

Yup - my 2 boys are WAAAAY bigger than their mum.... got about 4-5 inches in height and at least a stone in weight more than her.....

what dogs do you have?
at 10 months and as tall has his dad i wasnt sure if hes stopped growing. people have answered my posts saying hes going to be big but when we visited his parents and seen that hes as tall already ... im not so sure.

I've got Boxers..... to be fair, their mum is petite and their dad was on the larger side of a male boxer, but I look at my boys next to their mum and I think "OMG - how did she produce such monsters!!"

My boys reached their full height at about 1 year old, but with Boxers, it can take a couple of years to find their full adult size/weight, so they don't technically stop growing until they are about 2 or 3 (and mentally they never grow up!!! )

He is a lovely boy and wow only 10 months, he looks so like his dad .

A lot will depend on the cross in this case.
Lovely looking dogs and like you say quite different from Mum
