Puppy attacked by thugs

Just found out that whilst one of my cousin's was out with her young daughter, their 5 month old bc Jack and a friend who owns Jack's litter brother, they came across a man and who they presume is his son of around 13/14 years old. The man was carrying a large torch.

Apparently, from what I understand (which isn't much right now) the man, who was described to me as tall and well built, proceeded to beat Jack around the head with the torch, whilst his presumed son joined in kicking/hitting him. The man was going on about how the dogs should be on lead...

Apparently, they tried to attack the other puppy but he was able to run away.

My cousin's friend was able to chase them off from what I'm told and would've given them it back, if she'd have caught either of them.

They live in a village and were walking in the surrounding area, the f**king Tw*ts aren't known to be from there.

They've got a good description of them though and the police are involved and taking it seriously so I've been told.

Hopefully they'll be caught and get more than just a slap on the wrist.

Unfortunately, I don't know if Jack's ok or not, I recieved the info 3rd hand, I'll update asap.

Don't think it was in the dark, may've been getting dark.

I was only told they were carrying a large torch, not wether it was on.

I was also told that they suspect they may have been out to poach wildlife, there's been incidents of that round there before apparently.

Still haven't heard how Jack is.

What the hell makes a person want to do something like this?? I hope they're caught and punished and I hope Jack is ok.

I dont think that type of person stops at abusing animals either Who in their right mind would treat any being, human or not, like that, and to top it off encourages/allows a child to think thats ok...
