How do you tell your dog off?

I Glare....and say 'Cross voices!'

....Or I growl

I don't really......

If he's on my bed and I want him to get off, I just say off! And he gets down.

That's about it really

I call them by their full name including surname. They know I mean business then!

I don't really tell Rupert off to be honest. If he's doing something he shoudn't be I'll redirect him to something more appropriate.

I think the closest I come to telling him off is a "Rupert Bear! You little sh*t!" when I walk into a room and find shredded tissue. He just wags his tail and grins at me though so I hardly think that's a telling off.

I say their names with emphasis on the first syllable !

Happens so rarely I can't even remember if they take any notice !

Sometimes if I tell her to do something and she looks like she's going to ignore me I will make a sound like 'ah ba ba ba' but I just sound like an idiot! She seems to know though
