Jago end of filming

Filming ended on Wednesday, Jago has been asleep ever since I think! It was a lot for him, 8 days and a lot of thinking to do. Lots of spoiling from everyone though which made up for the work!

He had to go to marks, bark on command at a distance, sit and lie on command, sit in the back of a sports car and most difficult---look as if he belonged to both the actor and actress. Actor was great, actress was not! Not only was she worried about the dog she couldn't drive elther and I ended up at the top of a cliff road in the car with her with a camera on the front and her freaking and not being able to put it in park. In the end they used her make up girl as a double and I didn't have to be in the car---as someone pointed out---she was getting ££2500 a day and perhaps she should have read the script!

I had two stipulations---he had to be on lead on the cliff and he had to be harnessed in the car when it was moving, neither of which were popular but both were done!

Photos are general shots. Didn't get any of the bathroom scene which involved the actor in a bath covered in bubbles---if I hadn't been so stressed about J and what we were doing I wouldn't have known where to look!

Its a german production of a Rosumund Pilcher story---they are huge in Germany and they do 5 a year. We have done a couple of others with them. They change the titles so I haven't a clue---they all seem a bit samey really!

Thats fantastic! What a clever boy!!
Good for you insisting on him being kept safe as well. I would never trust Paxton off lead anywhere near cliff paths I wish more people round here did the same i've seen too many near misses!!

Thats what I told them--we were at Gwithian on the cliffs---not a huge drop but far enough!

He isn't my dog---he is a very well trained pet dog belonging to a friend. She has done a great job and he has a great temperament. I do know him very well--he is sort of family.

Where are you in Cornwall?

Another one in the can. Onwards and upwards

Well done, Jago. Eight days of concentration is a big ask
