My sister in laws Leonberger

My sister in law (Chris) recently re-homed a Leonberger - Ruby. She gets on fine with her other dogs another Leon and a cross breed both male xx All have been neutered/spade.

She behaves brilliantly until she meets other dogs she doesn't know then she lunges, screams, barks gets tottally OTT until the other dog owner is brave enough to allow Ruby near and after she's had a sniff and said hello she sits down and is clearly bored and wants to continue on her walkies!! She, from what we can tell didn't have any socialisation in her early life, she was only ever let out into the back garden. She has never attacked or shown any aggression to any other dog just this OTT behaviour when seeing them.

In every other way she's a brilliant lovely dog, typial laid back Leonberger.

Chris lives up in north Scotland - Kinloss - They are finding it difficult to find a good trainer, she's met 2 one was scared of Ruby due to her size!!! and the other recommended kicking her Ceaser Milan style :noway:

Can anyone recommend a good trainer up that way or offer some advice that I could pass on please. Chris will be really grateful.

Thank You
