Dog games harnesses.

Has anyone got the new version dog games harness?

I am considering it for Buttons but there seems far more buckles on then on the original design.

Is it this one you're thinking of?

The perfect fit one comes in different parts to allow the right fit for dogs with odd measurements, e.g. crossbreeds with overly deep chests for the rest of their body and so on, hence the need for so many buckles. From what I can make of it, once fitted all you'd do is put the dog's head in through the neck hole and do up the two girth buckles, so not particularly fiddly.

Yes, this is the one. I liked the fact that you can just buy the separate pieces as the dog grows....but wondered if all the buckles irritated?

I have 2 perfect fit harnesses, 1 for Teagan that I've had for a couple of years, she loves it! I bought Skye 1 last November, she does flyball in hers and she seems comfortable jumping and running in it.

This is Teagan in hers (I haven't got a pic of Skye in hers)

Hi, I have both types of dog-games harness, for the little Pap the best one was the perfect fit, seeing how well it fitted him I decided to get one for Len the big collie, how-ever it just doesn't sit right on him, they are very good & changed the size of 2 of the parts but I find I am still not happy with it & really prefer the 'fleece lined walking harness' Also the D ring that you clip the lead (on the back not the chest peice) to insists on turning round no matter how many times I have turned it back it still does it, on the subject of the D rings the one on the chest isn't really as effective as you would think, on Len it just twists the harness round to the side as soon as he pulls.

as I say the xtra small perfect fit on the Papillon is brilliant but for the bigger dog the fleece lined walking harness is the best in my experiance. you might be ok with your Pup though. good luck!

The perfect fit version has been out for ages, at least 3 years, because that's when I got Gozo his!

Once you have it all adjusted so you're happy with the fit you only need to unclip the 2 side clips to get it on and off. I found the service from Dog Games much better than Snugglepets who I had some problems with.

Here's Enzo with the camo regular harness and Gozo with the blue perfect fit.

And Pepper always wears purple
