help needed!

After breeding our bitch, we only got slip matings, she is now on day 14 after slip matings happened she has a slightly creamy clour discharge every now and then is this a good sign or not?? ( she has recently had a water infection and has just finished her anti bitotics ) we noticed this last night!

What breed is your dog? Keep us updated

I wouldn't feel happy seeing creamy clour discharge. Could check to see if she has raised temp.

I would phone the vet to just be safe xxxx

Hi There,

I had the exact same thing happen to one of my bitches yesterday (the discharge) and when I was chatting to another breeder ran it by her and she said that she's had this happen to a couple of hers when their 'heat' has finished. Spoke to my vet and he also said the same thing that her season has ended. (my girl hasn't had any water infections)

I wouldnt be too concerned about slightly creamy discharge, if it goes darker then I would be visiting the vets for a check.

I believe an odourless, creamy discharge is a fairly reliable sign that a bitch is in whelp.

When this happened to my bitch I rang the very experienced stud dog owner, and he told me it was a good sign. He was right, I got pups.

i hope so, shes had some more discharge today but it is odourless, and its not a constant discharge just every now and then, she is due to go to the vets around the 26th of this month for a scan, so fingres crossed! How many pups didi you get Dawn?
