A tragic and timely reminder that heat kills :(

7 Dogs die after being left in a van

A thoroughly preventable tradegy, poor, poor dogs I really feel for their owners, what a senseless waste.

Also a very timely reminder to everyone, what with summer fast approaching ...

Poor, poor animals and their owners. I would want to kill that handler if that was my dog. So very sad.

That's horrific, as a handler, and therefore being paid to care for the dogs, then she should have put the dogs first. To say she left them in the van because it was too hot at 1am in the morning saying it was better there is ridiculous. They needed to be somewhere where there is greater movemnet of air and why could she not have put the fans in the kennels to keep them cool? She deserves everything that is coming to her for that.

Poor, poor things. I can't bear to think how they suffered.

It baffles me how people still think they can leave dogs in cars/vans.

What a terrible and needless thing to happen.Dogs left in cars is one of my pet hates
It still surprises me the number of people who'll stop off at the shops or for a coffee on the way home...... even people who should know better

I dont see that as a terrible accident, its neglect pure and simple, I hope they lock her up,

she should have known better, she was given responsiblility for some beautiful dogs and thats what she does.
makes me sick,

No accident- sounds like laziness- she wanted her bed rather than transporting the dogs into the house

That to me is pure neglect on the handlers side.....nothing else but pure neglect if she thought it was hot, what did she think the dogs felt............
