Thank you Doglost

I presume most people have heard of doglost and the work they do to reunite missing dogs and owners

http://www.doglost.co.uk/page.aspx?pg=72

But are you aware just how far they go for the dogs they are looking for??

Lady went missing 23 days ago the day after she was rehomed in Milton Keynes, everyday since then the doglost team in that area have been out postering and leafleting all homes in the area as well as going out at all hours and in all weathers to look for her, yesterday their persistance and dedication paid off and Lady is finally back in the warm and with the Nessr family

We at Nessr would like to publicly thank Sandie who is the DL co-ordinator in MK and all her volunteers who have never given up on this scared little cocker, and i have posted this on the largest dog forum, to urge you all if you have the time and the inclination to give your support to them, they really do go beyond the call of duty, and thanks to them Lady now has a chance of a new life

Doglost helped me in 2003.

My house was broken into and the along with the usual things like money jewelry and computers they took my 5 month old dog.
They helped with support and faxing huge amounts of people in the area. They pointed a guy from the BBC who was making a program about dog theft and we took part in that.

We were able to get the information on the area she was in so we staked out the local shops.

This brought us to the attention of the community police in that area, they thought we might be drug dealer,

Long story short after 2 months we got her back just in time for her first season.
