My rat rescue

Ive been rescuing and rehoming rats for years on a small scale but now we are in a position to be able to do it on a bigger scale with a website and a name and everything! woo!

The rescue is called Hatties House and we are nr Nottingham. Hattie was a very poorly tiny little girl I rescued earlier this year, sadly she was only here for 14 days before she gave up her fight, but she touched me so much and I hope to get longer to fix future rescues, so it is named after her

That's fab I used to rehome rats on a small scale too. Never had the chance to do it on a more official scale since my mum has pet allergy problems and I was living it home - I ended up insulating a shed, putting power and light out there and running from there but it did mean I was a bit limited with cage space.
Good luck with it - and I may well have to pop in and see you in the future, OH and I are moving up to the Notts area in the next year or two and sadly our current ratty boys might not still be with us by then.

Good luck with this,

I've been wanting some rats again for a while but don't want any from a pet shop as they can be nasty little beggars,

Looks like we'll all be needing piccies x
