The nicest thing lately....and this may sound so stupid was when I was asking his advice about my two son's and them falling out with me.

He said ''Listen!!!! you have NOTHING to question yourself about, those kids just don't know how lucky they have been having a Mother who went without so they could go through College (Iwas divorced by then)....Phew I'd of given my right arm to have someone like you as a mother when I was a kid.

I felt a million times better.

Aww thats lovely Steph...what a poppet your Pat is

Clive doesn't really have a way with words, bless him, always says the wrong thing However, he has told me on several occasions lately that he is the happiest he has ever been in his life...that makes me feel all warm and snuggly inside

Ooooo loads of lovely things. I have finally found the right man for me and know i am right for him too.

He often leaves little notes on the notice board in the kitchen. The latest one was thanking me for supporting him in his new business, for my love and friendship and that he is looking forward to becoming three in June and raising our little family together.

They always make me cry with happiness when i read them.

what a nice thread - and lovely response so far

the nicest thing Paul ever said to me?
"if it wasn't for you standing up and fighting for me, I wouldn't be here now"
That was when I realised he knew exactly how much I had done to get him better.

Loads of things - he's a lovely man.

The best one has to be "yes - you can have a whippet"!!!

Neil is always saying wonderful things, one of the best being "Will you marry me?", but I had a lovely little note that he popped inside the laptop yesterday morning that said "Pigeon, thank you for being an amazing wife. I love you lots and like that wibbly feeling I get whenever I look at you. You make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside!".

Awwwww ;o)

I am very lucky as my OH says nice things all the time but one that stuck in my mind happened 2 nights ago.
He said - 'Do you know that there is nothing that annoys me about you and nothing I would change'.
What makes it even better is that it came from the person who I admire (and love) more than anyone else in the world.
