The Rainbow Bridge...childs perspective

Wasn't sure where to put this one so sorry if it's in the wrong place.
My son always makes a miniature garden (amongst other things) for a local flower show. This year, he wanted to do a dog based one. After losing Mo, he wanted to do a rainbow bridge garden. We got the stuff and he made it on the day we got the stuff for Mo's pot...so it meant a lot as you can imagine.
Good news...he won, not only the best garden but overall best in Childrens section....I have a happy boy!
What do you think? We put the story next to it for those that don't know it and kept finding people going 'awwwwww' by it!

There was a lot of green glitter and shiny stars on the soil in the end!

Oh Ailsa that is lovely and a wonderful tribute to Mo from your son.

My children used to enter the miniature garden competition at the flower show in my parents' village when they were young too

Awwww thanks Petebren, thanks Lizzie. He loves entering, its really sad though as hardly anyone else does. There were lots of pics this year but his was the only garden, so sad, there were about 8 last year. Its a big show and for there to be so few entries is sad. As I say though there were plenty of pics and he won best in the whole section with it....he won it last year as well with his Dr Who garden, this one was more special though after losing Mo. Bless.

Ahh, that is really lovely. We used to make miniture gardens for the local show as kids. I loved making them then and still love looking at them now. Well done to him.

Well, whether there was one garden or a hundred entered, such a beautiful and lovingly inspired garden would have won no matter what, its a wonderful tribute to Mo by a very special little boy

If other children don`t enter perhaps they don`t have such supportive mums to encourage them but maybe your lads very special garden will spur them on to give it a try next time

Please pass on a hug and a very well done indeed :smt001
