Cosmo learnt to swim! (FCR)

...and I managed to catch it on camera!
We took him to the beach and as ever, he headed for water as soon as he got the slightest whiff of it!!!
Well he charged into what can only be described as a mini lake/puddle that had been left when the tide went out. That was fine, until he discovered there was a shelf...and he fell off it!!!! Talk about learning to swim because you have no choice!!!!

So...he starts chasing the ball...

Gets to the ball...all is well...

Then someone goes and takes the floor away...

But it's okay, because Cosmo can now officially swim!!!!

Now he only has the waves in the 'real' sea to conquer....

But when you have your best friend with you anything is possible!!!!

Ta for looking.

Thanks Random, the Flat Coat we puppy walked wouldn't have anthing to do with water...bit weird. Cosmo only has to think there is the tiniest of puddles and he's in it splashing round, but this was his first out of depth, proper swim. So chuffed I caught it on camera!

Awww...bless him! That's how Cassie learned too but she prefers her little paws on the ground. Loves the water but doesn't swim unless necessary. Likes paddling instead

No, MOrris wasn't fussed about swimming out of his depth (our old BC) but loved a paddle. Maybe it's a breed thing?!
