world trade centre

has anyone seen this yet?

we went to the movies last night and saw this and were totally blown away by it. the story does not, as some said glorify war, but focuses on the prediciment of two port authority police who were trapped by the collapse of the twin towers.

it was very scary at points but due to the graphic footage it really brings home the personal tragidies that happened that day.

all in all worth a trip to the cinema

Hi there,
I was away in Greece when the 9/11 happened and wondered if you think this would be a good film for me to watch...I have never really seen much of the footage and people think I am morbid but everyone around me watched it happening on the news !! What do you think ??

yes would be a good film as it focuses on individuals as well as giving the overall view of the events of 9/11.

I actually went for the "real" one - 9/11 it's called - about the rookie fireman who was filmed durng his probationary period - it includes what happened at the WTC, and has the only footage of the first plane hitting the tower. I highly recommend it, but because it was real, I don't want to see any of the others.

I did however buy United 93 - now there's a movie - totally traumatic and so realistic - made me weep.

united 93 is a good film, about the plane that passengers took over and crashed in a field.
really good film. infact, theres 2 of the same film, not sure which one i watched. might have been flight 93.
