I've got a job interview!!!!!!

OMG, I've only gone and landed myself a job interview with the Council!!!! I applied for it ages ago and had actually given up on hearing from them It's for a Helpdesk Supervisor's job, so in my mind is the job I should really have where I am now. It's a pay band up from where I am now. I'm currently at the top of my pay band with nowhere to go so would be a really welcome change. It's also easier to get to and is only up the road in the next town (where my mum and dad live) so about 20 minutes by bus. I'm absolutely bricking it now though!

Congratulations, in this day and age with so many people going for so few jobs I think its a good thing just to get invited for an interview. That said, if you like the sound of it then I'm sure it will be yours, so handy for popping in to visit the folks too. Fingers crossed xx

Thanks Sheree, I'm pleased I've been short listed too! I worked really hard on the application and my current boss was helping me! It's something I really want and would be nice to work back where I used to live. Trying not to get to excited about it
