The difference between Dogs and horses

I know most of you said you wouldnt buy a dog from the paper but would you buy a horse from the paper?theres a nice mare in our paper today, I usually buy from word of mouth but her breeding is very good what would you all do.
Ps I have already made an appointment to go see her

I think it's ok to go and see a horse that's been advertized in a paper, but would never buy a horse with out getting it vetted first, and trying it out, but then I'm very suspicius by nature, even if they have been recomended
