The wee drunk in the corner (there's always one)
When Kali was but a few months old, I took him down to Edinburgh to meet my Mum, who had given me the money (birthday pressie) with which I'd bought him. While there, I went in to the pub I used to frequent when I was resident in the city. As always, there was a shrivelled wee drunk in the corner - you know the sort, bl@@dy expert on everything! Anyway, the wee drunk looks at Kali, noting his blue eyes. "That dug's blind!" he opined. "No he isn't." says I, "he just has blue eyes. He can see perfectly! And I can PROVE it!" The wee drunk doesn't seem to notice that Kali is watching all this with the aforementioned blue eyes."How are ye gonna dae that?"
"Easy! I'll let him off his lead, you try to hit me, and we'll see what happens!"
"Ah weel, He's gonna go blind!"
Here we are, 13 years later, and whilst I have no idea what happened to the drunk*, Kali is still watching flies and helicopters.
*And I care even less
