there`s life in the old dog, yet!

Let`s hear it for your oldies!
I took my old boy Laddie the shorthair (age 14) off to the duck pond today where he spent a happy time flushing out ducks from reeds, rooting rats from banks and swimming round and round in the cool water. What a great afternoon for the old chap. He`s sound asleep now. I expect he`ll only want a short potter for the next week, but it was lovely seeing him having such a nice time. Show us your oldies!

This is Nova, Hungarian Vizsla, she was 15 in April. She spends a lot of time sleeping now, sometimes she doesn't even know that I am in the house, bless her. Even so she can still get up the stairs and jump onto my bed or jump onto the sofa which is where she is right now, all cuddled up to Cody.

This is our dear old Heidi. Now 14 and a little deaf, she's slowed down a bit, but she's still her old self when it comes to stealing bones from the others, and nudging people inappropriately:

Here's "The Duchess" - Roxy. Twelve and a half years young, and 2.5 kilos lighter thanks to a strict diet. Looking good, girly, looking good:
