The clippers that I use are these http://www.everythingforpets.com/mik...041.dept.1057/

They come in small, medium and large. I have had mine for years as I used them with my old dog and have found them very good. They always seems to give a very clean cut.

Ooh well I must've had a dud pair I really dislike the mikki ones I have that exact pair, actually I dislike most of their products(the ones that I've tried) JMO of course. I have just bought some doggyman nail clippers and like them so far time will tell if they last, I clip a looooot of nails! Also have a great big pair, not sure of the make but they have orange handles for the big beasties with bear claws!

I have a smilar pair to the ones in the link, had them for years and they still do the job. I also use a dremmil to file the nails down, took some time getting the dogs used to it, but now in the evenings I am doing the nailsI have all four lined up for their manicure lo

I use these - much easier than the guillotine type that I first used.

Easy to 'shape' the nail too.

i use the guillotine type for years with no probs. the illustration in the previous post is'nt the guillotine type. the ones i have, have a steel loop with a sliding cutting blade. you place the loop on the nail, squeeze the handles, then the blade slides forward and cuts the nail.
